NABAS (pronounced Nay-bas) is a unique organization that is concerned with every aspect of the artist and his/her career. Although we have come a long way, we still have a long way to go. The opportunities for Black actors just isn't there and NABAS is determined to make the difference. We realize that in order for things to change and for the doors
of opportunity to open for the Black actor, the director, the writer this organization and YOU are necessary.

Denzel Washington isn't enough, Halle Berry, isn't enough, Whoopi Goldberg isn't enough, Jennifer Hudson isn't enough. When will it be Don Cheadle, or you or me? We need the roles, the writers, the opportunity. We cannot sit quietly we must step up make a difference. We have the talent, we need the opportunity to be seen.
